Calling all classroom teachers, school counselors, career coaches, youth group leaders, and other formal and nonformal educators! Get ready for a fun and interactive professional development event to help you engage learners in actively exploring sustainability, from forest products to green careers.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Learning: Hands-on activities, modeling, and discussing successful strategies for engaging youth in exploring sustainability and green careers
Facility Tour: Join us for an in-person tour of Buckeye Corrugated Inc - Lancaster located in Columbia, PA to learn more about all the future career opportunities for youth in the corrugated packaging industry! The tour will take place after lunch.
Networking: Meet employees from the Pennsylvania DCNR Bureau of Forestry, Buckeye Corrugated (BCI), and other local teachers to plan for future career events directly with learners.
