According to Chinese philosophy, the five elements of wood, fire, earth, metal, and water are believed to be the fundamental elements of everything in the universe. Each element has its own connections with different aspects of nature, including season, color, and shape. Tami Noonan's workshops will explore these relationships and interactions and how they might influence you, with hands-on experiences as well as reflection and discussion. Come for one or all!
In this fourth session, we explore Metal, which is associated with autumn, the color white, and dry weather. Fee: Free-will donation.
The remaining workshop, at 1 p.m., is on Sunday, November 22. In the final workshop, we'll focus on Water, associated with winter, the color black, and coldness.
