Pollinator Planting at Bunker Hill

Please join Michaux State Forest in planting over 5,800 pollinator plants a Bunker Hill. Bunker Hill, also known as “Camp Michaux”, is the focus of a multi-year restoration project to remove invasive species and improve biological diversity by planting native trees and plants. We are looking for volunteers to help us plant thousands of plugs into pre-dug holes. Feel free to join us for the whole day or come for a few hours. This volunteer workday will be capped at the first 20 volunteers, so don’t wait to RSVP!

 

What to bring:
• Gloves and safety glasses. We will have extra gloves, if needed.
• Boots or sturdy shoes, long pants, and long shirt.
• Bug spray and long pants are recommended for tick protection.
• Water, snacks, and your own lunch. Lunch will not be provided.

Rain or shine, may be canceled in the event of severe weather.
