Homeschoolers!  You are invited to Sinnemahoning State Park for a unique day of learning for both homeschool educators and students as we sample the lessons available in the Project Learning Tree curriculum. 

Project Learning Tree is an award-winning environmental education program designed for educators working with students from pre-K to eighth grade.

Students will participate in fun, hands-on activities, creative writing, a guided nature hike, and more while learning about trees, tree products, and wildlife habitats. 

Parents will experience the same activities in a group with other adults and learn more about Project Learning Tree and its resources.

All activities will be led by professional environmental educators from Pennsylvania State Parks and Pennsylvania Game Commission.

This workshop/homeschool day is open to ALL homeschool educators and their students. All adult participants will receive a copy of the Project Learning Tree PreK-8 Environmental Education Activity Guide, which contains 96 lessons and useful resources. 

4.0 Act 48 hours are available.

Fee: FREE!

Pre-registration is required by April 19th.

Group size is limited to 12 adults and maximum of 40 people.  When registering, please indicate number of adults and number of students.
