Pine Tree Tea
470 Vosburg Road, Tunkhannock, PA 18657
Due to the forecast, this program has been moved from April 3 to April 30!
The Eastern white pine is one of Pennsylvania's native trees. Take a walk through the park's pine plantation and learn more about the tree's significance, then learn about responsible foraging and enjoy a sample of freshly brewed pine needle tea.
We will meet at the parking area by the Riverside Barn and then caravan approximately one mile to the park's pine plantation. After we enjoy some time in the trees, we will return to the parking area and end with tea in the Spruce Grove picnic area.
Participants with existing health conditions should consult with their health provider before consuming wild edibles.
Please register to ensure there are enough supplies, and please consider bringing your own reusable mug to help reduce waste.
