Dogs must always be leashed and under control, and owners must be able to provide proof of rabies vaccination upon request. The route is dependent on weather and trail conditions but will be approximately 2 miles. CRCPA will be bringing some adoptable dogs and will have a booth set up to accept donations and provide additional information about their rescue program.

Friends of Pinchot will have an informational booth and merchandise available for sale.

Family-friendly programs and crafts – Join the park’s educator and learn a little about the critters that come out at night at Pinchot Park. We will have skulls, feathers, and furs to test your nocturnal knowledge.

Trick-or-Treat in the Campground, 4-5:30 p.m.

Please plan ahead to limit unnecessary vehicle travel while trick-or-treating is in progress. The speed limit in the campground will be reduced to 5 m.p.h. during this time. As a reminder, pets are not permitted in A-Loop but you may trick-or-treat through B-Loop with your leashed dog.

Parade through the Campground, 6-7 p.m.

Park staff and volunteers have organized a small Pinchotween parade. Vehicle traffic through the campground will be closed while the parade is in progress. Please plan your travel accordingly. Vehicles that need to leave during this time should park at the overflow parking lot before the parade begins. All vehicles coming in during this time will be asked to wait or park in overflow parking until the parade is finished.
