Perseid Meteor Shower on Preston’s Pearl – Friday, August 12, 2022

8:30 PM – 10:30 PM – McDanel’s Launch Area (North Shore) – Moraine

Come out and enjoy the night sky by boat! This night will be the height of the Perseid Meteor Shower. Take in Mother Nature’s celestial natural fireworks on top of the observation deck of the Preston’s Pearl pontoon boat with the Park Naturalist and volunteers of the Moraine Preservation Fund. See the Perseid Meteor shower and learn about the constellations of the late summer night sky. Bring binoculars, if you have them. Dress for the weather.
