PA Songbirds is an activity guide designed for K-8 classroom teachers, homeschool educators, scout leaders, any adult who wishes to engage children in hands-on science and environmental learning through the world of birds. Certified teachers earn 6.0 Act 48 hours. Newly revised, this curriculum has over 40 activities on topics ranging from science of birds and habitat to migration, birds and people. As a bonus, we also explore the Project Learning Tree module “Together for the Birds”. Spend the day with DCNR educators from Moraine and Point State Parks as we experience the activities together, and share skills and experiences.
