Pennsylvania Songbirds is a curriculum supplement developed jointly by the Pennsylvania Bureau of State Parks, the Pennsylvania Game Commission, and the National Audubon Society. It is intended for both formal and non-formal educators teaching at the kindergarten through twelfth grade levels.

Participants who complete the workshop will receive 6.5 hours of Act 48 credit and the manual. The manual is divided into sections covering bird biology, habitat, observation and identification, migration, research, birds and people, and action. Additional resource materials will be provided.

Participants should dress for the weather, and bring a bag lunch. Morning coffee and snacks will be provided.

Pre-registration is required, and there is a $25.00 fee for the workshop. Maximum registration is 20, and if a minimum of 10 do not register, the event will be cancelled.
