Come celebrate PA Native Species Day (officially celebrated on May 18th), on Friday, May 19th at Beltzville State Park! We'll take a leisurely (1 mile) walk around our Day Use Area, and observe and identify many of the local invasive species, while identifying some very important native species along the way. We'll discuss what makes invasive species so detrimental to our local environment, what you can do to promote native species in your own backyard, and what you can do to control those pesky invasives!

We'll be meeting at the Environmental Interpretive Center (EIC) for this program. Rain will cancel the walk.
