Pedal & Paddle

The Delaware Canal State Park, D&R Canal State Park and the Delaware River Greenway Partnership are joining forces to host our 2nd annual "Pedal & Paddle" along the canals!

***Location: Prallsville Mills, 33 Risler St, Stockton, NJ 08559***

There are a limited amount of spaces.  Rain date of June 9.

Participants must be 10 years or older and accompanied by an adult.


Event Schedule:

10:30 am – Participants should arrive @ Prallsville Mills (33 Risler St, Stockton, NJ 08559) so we can start promptly at 11 am
11 am – Bike ride departs from Prallsville Mills, travels south into Stockton, NJ and over the bridge to the PA side. We will pedal up the Delaware Canal to the Tohickon Creek Aqueduct, and then back down to the Bulls Island Recreation Area.
12:30ish – Bike ride returns to Bulls Island; bikes are stored in maintenance area until they can be picked up by participants at the conclusion of the paddling portion of the program; participants eat lunch in picnic area & have time to use bathroom, explore the park office & walk across pedestrian bridge…
1:30 pm – Paddle portion begins with 30 mins. for the following: paddle instruction, adjusting boats & fitting life vests
3:30 pm (or likely a bit sooner because we are only paddling 3 miles!) – Paddlers land @ Prallsville Mills, then drive themselves back up to Bulls Island to pick up their bikes.

Equipment Required/Provided:

**Kayaks, paddles & life vests will be included for registrants as part of registration fee.

**Registrants will need to bring their own packed lunch for the day & carry it on the bike ride (backpacks recommended).  Another option is to PREORDER lunch for a 12:00 pickup from the Lumberville General Store (www.thelumbervillegeneralstore.com).

**Bikes & helmets must be provided by the registrants. You MUST wear a helmet for this program.
