Teachers & non-formal educators! Join us for a fun-filled educator workshop that focuses on teaching environmental science through birds! Pennsylvania Songbirds is curriculum developed by PA State Parks, PA Game Commission, and Mid-Atlantic Audobon Society.  Within it are dozens of lessons that include music, art, math, science, social studies, and more. Lessons also adhere to STEELS. It is designed for ages K-8, though many lessons can be adapted to broader audiences. 

Participants will receive a K-8 Pennsylvania Songbirds Teacher's Guide and 5.5 Act 48 hours. Lunch will be on your own. Registration is $15. For more information or to register, contact the Little Buffalo State Park office at 717-567-9255 or email Mindy at mewilt@pa.gov.
