DESCRIPTION:PA Songbirds is an environmental education curriculum that uses
  activities centered around birds of Pennsylvania to allow children to exp
 lore English language arts\, research math\, ecosystems\, ecological conce
 pts\, and more!\n\n \n\nEarn 4.5 Act 48 hours while experiencing hands-on 
 activities related to PA Songbirds that help develop awareness\, investiga
 tive skills\, curiosity\, and environmental knowledge. Participants will r
 eceive the updated K-8 Teacher’s Guide which features over 40 lessons\, 
 pre-made student sheets\, and organizers that sort each lesson by topic an
 d grade level. This workshop is open to all educators: school teachers\, n
 aturalists\, homeschool parents\, scout leaders\, and others!\nAdditionall
 y\, workshop guests will also be participating in a morning bird-banding s
 ession. Weather permitting\, certified bird banders will take the group on
  a tour of the mist nets\, discuss the importance of bird banding\, and ba
 nd live birds that are caught on-site! \n\nBring a brown-bag lunch and dre
 ss for outdoor fun!\n\n \n\nRegistration and workshop fee of $15.00 is REQ
 UIRED - please register by September 4th\, 2025.\nYou can pay the $15.00 f
 ee over the phone anytime before the workshop\, or stop by the park office
  to pay with cash or card. You must pay the fee before attending the works
 hop. The park office is open 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM daily and the phone number
