Can't visit us in person for our owl programs?

Join us zoom for the online version of our live program!

ducators in our classroom will be brought to you virtually. You will be able to participate, ask questions, view presentations and artifacts in real time.  

Saw Whet Owls will be particularly featured. Licensed banders from the Ned Smith Center will monitor capture nets as part of a 25+ year research project. If owls are caught, the banding and data collection process will be demonstrated indoors on a live bird. 

If there is inclement weather, we will still have a program, but there will be no banding for live owls.
