***Meeting location: Ralph Stover State Park, 6011 State Park Road, Pipersville, PA 18947, at Pavillion #3***
Join a state park naturalist for a short and informative talk on owls of PA followed by an owl prowl. During this time of year, owls are looking for their perfect match. The owl love language, heard through hoots, chuckles, and caws can be distinguished by species and is often heard in the area.
While exploring Ralph Stover State Park under the cover of night we will attempt to hear and see owls found within its forest. This is a family friendly event and all ages are welcome however, our best attempt at hearing/seeing owls will require a quieter audience. This hike will be over slightly uneven terrain.
Please be sure to bring a flashlight and water. A limited number of flashlights will be available to borrow.
