Outdoors 4 Everyone

Come enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational activities as we celebrate National Get Outdoors Day! Try your hand at geocaching, disc golf, or archery; practice your fishing rod casting skills; learn the basics of kayaking; and more. Programs will be offered throughout the day, and the final schedule will be released closer to the event. Unless otherwise posted, all activities will take place at the Muskrat Beach 2 area. Here is the schedule of programs: 10:00-3:00 PM: Friends of Prince Gallitzin, Nature Scavenger Hunt, Backyard Bass Fishing, Boating Safety, Fly Fishing Demos, Orienteering/Compass, Fishing Demos, Sandbox Snowshoeing, Recycled Nature Crafts for Kids, Disc Golf - all at Muskrat Beach 2 10:00-2:00 PM: Pontoon Tours for Veterans at the Prince Gallitzin Marina (space is limited) 11:00 AM: Geocaching, Kayaking 101 (space is limited) - Muskrat Beach 2 1:00 PM: Packing Your Bags, Kayaking 101 (space is limited) - Muskrat Beach 2 1:00-3:00 PM: Archery 101 at Muskrat Beach 2
