Join the park naturalist and local Penn State Master Gardeners for a lesson on how to prune ornamental trees and shrubs. Topics will include why to prune, types of pruning cuts, and hand pruning tools. Participants will see a pruning demostration and learn about how pruning helps improve aesthics, friut production, backyard wildlife habitat and can help prevent the spread of disease.
