***Meeting location: Canal Park, 2520 River Rd, New Hope, PA 18938***

Opt to spend the day after Thanksgiving outside instead of in crowded stores & join us for a 7.5 mile loop hike along both the Delaware Canal State Park towpath and the Delaware & Raritan Canal towpath!  This hike will cover the areas of New Hope, Lambertville, Stockton & Centre Bridge.  We will be rewarded along the way with beautiful views of the Delaware River, both canals & two unique bridges.  There is a very good possibility that we will observe bald eagles or other raptors & waterfowl on this hike!

We'll meet at Canal Park (about 1.3 miles north of Bridge Street in New Hope, PA) at 10 AM and hike at a moderate pace for 3-4 hours, stopping at Prallsville Mills County Park, NJ for lunch after ~5 miles of hiking.

Please dress in non-cotton layers, bring at least 2 liters of water,  and pack a hearty snack or lunch.  Option to buy food in Stockton, NJ just before our lunch break.
