Celebrate National Trails Day with a hike in the Slippery Rock Gorge! 

Slippery Rock Gorge is a National Natural Landmark of exceptional beauty and rugged trails. We will meet at the picnic area, learn a little about the gorge, then get back into cars for a short drive to the trailhead. We will be hiking on rugged terrain with ups and downs, approx. 2 miles to Breakneck waterfall and back. Wear sturdy shoes or boots, dress for the weather, bring drinking water and snacks. You may pack a picnic lunch for afterward, then set out to explore more on your own. All covid regulations will be followed, bring a mask.
