Nurturing Through Nature - Gather Your Harvest

Autumn is a time for some big energetic shifts, both in nature and in ourselves. In the springtime we planted some seeds of intention and change. All summer we worked to nurture and grow these new pieces of our soul’s tapestry. Now that autumn greets us it is time to gather our harvest. It is a time for assessing your crops – What will you keep and cultivate further? Is there something you are being called to let go of, just as the trees release their leaves? What stores will you gather to bring with you into hibernation over the winter months?  

Join us as we take an afternoon of reflection and harmony in nature at Nolde Forest. During this Nurturing Through Nature program participants will get the opportunity to awaken their senses, connect with the forest, and discover the depth of our unique relationship with Mother Nature while reflecting on how we can best usher in this new season and the changes it brings within and around us. This program will start with a short, guided meditation and intention setting, after which we will take a gentle walk through the forest to a lovely sit spot where we can stop for a silent meditation among the trees. Participants should be prepared for a mindful walk and quiet 20min meditation in the brisk autumn air.

This hike is for Adults Only. If you are interested in a family program, please contact rsheeler@pa.gov and we can try to host a family-friendly version if we garner enough interest.
