Nocturnal Nature: Bats

Looking up at sky after the sun has set, you may catch a glimpse of a bat or two! Even if you don't see them, you may hear them squeaking as they fly!

Bat week begins the 24th, so join park staff for an introduction into this wonderful week and the animals it celebrates!

Explore the different species of bats found in our state, the science behind their squeaks, and what we can do to help these incredible creatures.

Please meet at the Sheary-Linn Amphitheater (Located behind the learning center)!

Due to COVID-19 concerns, all attendees must wear a mask during the program and will need to sign a waiver upon arrival.

If you need any ADA accommodations due to a disability, or would like more information, contact our park office at 570-966-1455.
