Nocturnal Nature: Bats

Looking up at sky after the sun has set, you may catch a glimpse of a bat or two! Even if you don't see them, you may hear them squeaking as they fly!

Join park staff in exploring the different species of bats found in our state, the science behind their squeaks, and what we can do to help these incredible creatures.

Please meet at the play field that connects to the campground.

Keep in mind the play field has no seating, so bring a chair or blanket to sit on!

Due to COVID-19 concerns, all attendees must wear a mask during the program and will need to sign a waiver upon arrival.

If you need any ADA accommodations due to a disability, or would like more information, contact our park office at 570-966-1455.
