Nightscapes Photography Workshop

Photograph the starry night sky with your DSLR camera & lenses you currently own.

Curt Weinhold, a PA Wilds Juried Artisan, teaches you to photograph constellations & the Milky Way. Foreground material, such as trees or buildings may also add to the composition. Samples of work online: http://pbase.com/cwphoto

Essential Gear Includes: DSLR Camera, fully charged battery, sturdy tripod, wide angle lens preffered (Rokinon 14mm is popular & has reasonable cost).

Strongly recommend a spare battery if available and a memory card. Optionally, you can bring a laptop with image editing software. When time allows the workshop will include a short review of images near the conclusion.

Dress so you are comfortable for the anticipated night temperatures. You may bring a small flashlight. We can supply red cellophane to cover lens.

Registration Required - Registeration will open 45 days prior to class and close at 3pm 2 days prior to class (or when full). You may put your name on a waitlist if class is full. Class size is limited to only 10 seats.

Class is NOT for those wishing to photograph through a telescope.

Payment of $60.00 will be due upon arrival at the program by check or cash only.

The program will be cancelled in the event of rain or overcast skies.
