Join park staff, for an exciting evening exploring the wonders of the heavens.  View a star-laced sky, planets, star clusters and galaxies using optics. This program will begin as an informative discussion followed by a hands-on exploration of the wonders and mysteries of the evening skies. Feel free to bring your own equipment. This event is free.

Pre-registration is required to attend this Program and spaces are limited. MINORS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

While you may bring your own equipment and observe on your own in the designated area, all visitors should arrive before dark and check in at the Environmental Interpretive Center (E.I.C.).  Programs begin at the E.I.C. The park asks that visitors to the Night Sky programs please leave their pets at home. Dim lighting, large crowds and sensitive equipment do not create a pet-friendly environment.  If the sky is unfavorable for stargazing, an alternative program may be held.  All programs will be cancelled in the event of severe thunderstorms.
