By popular demand for more grueling than ghoulish, the Friends of Kings Gap is sponsoring Ghoulish Gallop 5K Trail Runs, beginning a 8:30 a.m. on October 27, 2018. 

The entry fee is $10.00 per person 17 and under or $15.00 per person 18 and up.

Pre-registration is required for this event. Each pre-registered runner will receive a white, logoed t-shirt to wear during this timed event. Ribbons will be awarded for youth, ages 10-17;  andmen and women in the following age categories:

• 18-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60 and up; and
• runners with strollers.

We will offer snacks to all runners at the finish line.

The course will begin at the Kings Gap Mansion and proceed down the main road, then break off onto Rock Scree trail. As the route emerges from the trail, the runner will be required to consume one ghoulish cupcake and a cup of witches brew before proceeding back up the road/trail to the finish. There will be a stroller category for anyone pushing a stroller, and they will remain only on the road. Ghouls will be along the trail, so beware, as they tend to change your shirt's color to look more like them. 

Registration packet pick-up starts at 8:30, with staggered start times as early as 9:00.
