Nature's Fireworks - The Fireflies
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all park programs are limited to 25 participants. Pre-registration is required. Call the park office between 8 am and 4 pm at 814-667-1800 to register for the program. Please bring a mask or face covering, and social distancing is in effect. Program will take place in an open field.
GREENWOOD FURNACE – Come and join us for a frolic with the fireflies. We will meet at the ballfield near the Blacksmith Shop at 9 pm. After a brief primer on fireflies, we will spread out through the field to view them, and look for glow-worms, which are their larval stage in Pennsylvania.
