Birds are returning to the park! In this storytime program we will share books and songs about birds, then take a walk to look and listen for birds. This program will be one hour in duration, and is designed for children aged 3-6 and their caregivers.

We will be meeting at the Environmental Education Center, which is connected by a short path to Parking Lot 12. If the weather is nice, we will take the paved trail to the playground for our stories, so bring a blanket!

Please register in advance to receive additional information and updates. In the event of inclement weather, we will hold the program indoors in the Environmental Education Center.

Directions to Environmental Education Center from the Park Office:

1. From the park office parking lot, head northeast by turning right onto Route 563/ Mountain View Drive.
2. Proceed 0.8 miles to Harrisburg School Road and turn right.

3. Proceed 0.3 miles to the stop sign (entering the park) and turn right.

4. Proceed 0.2 miles to parking lot #12 and park.

5. Using either the main park roadway or the gravel path, walk through the wooded area 400 ft to the Environmental Education Center.
