Naturally Grateful: A Moonlit Walk

Continue the feelings of Thanksgiving gratefulness while strolling the Jennings trails on a full moon evening. Join Jennings staff to discover how some of the holiday sentiments we practice also occur in nature. Many animals coexist in family groups and share their homes and foods with others. After, warm upby a campfire to complete the experience.

The walk will cover about a mile of varied terrain and pass through several different habitats. The trail is rated “easy,” but does include some sloping and uneven areas.

The walk will be held outdoors under clear, rainy or snowy skies, and will begin at the “Prairie Area and Trails” parking lot.

Free event; No pre-registration required
