Many visitors to Presque Isle express their experiences in different ways.  As an artist, share your impressions through our 5th annual mixed media student art competition.

Open to students from first grade through college currently enrolled in a public, private or home school.  Categories include 8” x 10” photography, mixed media paper and canvas, 5-8 minute digital video, clay and tabletop sculpture.  Contact Brian Gula, Environmental Education Specialist, at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center (TREC) for details and registration by calling 814-217-9632 or by email to bgula@pa.gov.

Registration is due by March 27, 2016.  Bring submissions to the TREC from April 11, 2016 to April 22, 2016.  Artwork will be judged, and an award presentation for artists and guests will occur on April 29, 2016, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the TREC.  Each category will have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner, and Best in Show will receive the Chairman’s Award sponsored by the Presque Isle Advisory Board.  Artwork entered will be displayed on the 2nd floor of the TREC from April 29 to May 29.
