Natural Easter Egg Dyeing

Your kitchen is full of natural dyes. Common food items such as tea, coffee and beets can be used to transform plain white eggs into colorful Easter creations. Kids will especially love discovering all the different colors they can create. Come in and experiment with the homemade dyes we made and then take them home and let them experiment using hard-boiled eggs and bowls of cold dyes of your own!

Pre-registration is required. Please register each individual separately. Spaces (and supplies) are limited, and will be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Participants are expected to provide your own hard-boiled eggs. We will not have a supply of extra eggs for you to dye.

These dyes were all homemade from fresh, natural ingredients. There will be a $5 charge per dozen eggs to help off-set the cost of the supplies needed to cook these dyes from scratch. Cash or check are acceptable, no credit cards will be accepted. Fees will be collected at the start of the program.

This program will be held at the Marina Visitor Center (all registrants will be notified in case of a location change or program cancellation).
