Native Plant Garden Clean Up

We need your help! Raccoon Creek State Park has two native plant gardens that are primarily maintained by volunteers. Join us as we pull weeds, mulch, spread compost, and make these gardens ready for spring. We will have some weeding tool and gloves available for use, but tools such soil knives, cobrahead weeders, fishtail weeders, and other weeding tools are welcome. Please bring gardening gloves.

This program is free, but space is limited to 15 participants, and registration is required. Register by clicking the green register button on this page. Meeting location will be emailed to you after you register. Please make sure to register as a group if more than one person is coming with you.

Please email shanemille@pa.gov if you have any questions.

*Until further notice: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all participants must follow current guidelines from the PA Department of Health and the CDC, which include wearing a face covering or mask and practicing social distancing during the program.
