National Public Lands Day

Calling all volunteers!  Bring friends, co-workers, scout groups to help us clean up the shoreline.

Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of NPLD  with this unique opportunity to enter the lake bed during construction.  Removing trash and debris from lakes restores health to local waterways and makes them more resilient to future impacts.  Help us improve the shoreline for future recreational use.

Bring leather-type work gloves.  Please bring your own water and snacks.  Garbage bags will be provided.  Lunch will be provided to volunteers working all day.

Must wear closed-toe shoes or boots and long pants.  Long sleeve shirts, hats, and rain gear recommended.

For more information please contact Jen Moore at 814-723-0259 or jennmoore@pa.gov.
