National Go Birding Day is held on the last Saturday in April every year. To celebrate it this year, we are going to do a short bird count to see who is hanging out in the park this time of year. Bring your own binoculars and join park staff to tally the birds we see in the park for about one hour.
This program is free, but space is limited to 15 participants, so registration is required. Register by clicking the green register button on this page. Details such as meeting location will be emailed to you after you register. Please make sure to register as a group if more than one person is coming with you.
Please dress for the weather, as we will be outside the entire time. Programs are weather permitting, and may be cancelled due to inclement weather including severe storms.
Please email RAfirstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
*Until further notice: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all participants must follow current guidelines from the PA Department of Health and the CDC, which include wearing a face covering or mask and practicing social distancing during the program. For current PA Department of Health guidelines and health orders, check online here: https://www.pa.gov/guides/responding-to-covid-19/#COVIDMitigationinPennsylvania *
