National Trails Day Hike – Saturday, June 1, 2024

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Meet at Point Parking Lot – McConnells Mill

Join the Park Naturalist for a 5.25 mile guided hike on the North Country Trail to celebrate National Trails Day.  The North Country Trail stretches over 4,800 miles through eight states, making it the longest trail in the US. This hike is considered a more difficult hike, so hikers should be in good physical shape and be prepared to traverse steep, rocky and uneven terrain.  We will be stopping halfway to enjoy lunch.  So, bring water, a packed lunch, and any trail snacks that will keep your energy up and spirits high on this challenging hike.  Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.
