DESCRIPTION:Celebrate National Take a Walk in the Park Day by taking a stro
 ll in our beautiful park! Join the park naturalist for a guided 4-mile\, o
 ut-and-back walk along the lake. We will take an easy\, ambling pace along
  a flat\, paved section of trail\, with stops for discussion about our pla
 nts\, animals\, features\, and history.\n\nWe will meet in front of the ra
 nger station at the Marina (can't miss it--this is the building you see in
  front of you as you drive down the hill into the Marina). We'll walk 2 mi
 les to the Stover Mill site\, then turn around and come back another 2 mil
 es. There is a bathroom at the Marina\, and we will be passing a port-a-po
 tty near our turnaround point.\n\nNo registration required. Leashed\, well
 -mannered pet dogs are welcome to join us. Sturdy shoes and a water bottle
  are recommended (we won't be passing any water fountains).\n\nQuestions?

 RINA RANGER STATION FROM THE PARK OFFICE:\n1. From the park office parking
  lot\, head northeast by turning right onto Route 563/ Mountain View Drive
 .\n\n2. Proceed 0.8 miles to Harrisburg School Road and turn right.\n\n3. 
 Proceed 0.3 miles to the stop sign (entering the park) and turn left.\n\n4
 . Proceed 0.2 miles on Harrisburg School Rd until you reach the stop sign 
 at the base of the hill. The building in front of you is the marina office
 .\n\n5. Turn either left or right at the stop sign and park in one of the 
 lots directly to the side of the marina office.
