My Favorite Field Guides (Virtual Program)

Have you ever tried to figure out what that strange plant growing in your garden is? Using a field guide is the first step to learning about nature in your backyard. Join a Park Naturalist via Skype for Business for a virtual talk about their favorite field guides and why they are top picks along with some tips and hints for picking out your own favorite guide. If you have a favorite field guide or questions about field guides bring them to the program so we can share. This program is appropriate for ages 7 and up. There is no fee, but registration is required. Register online here by clicking the green button.

Programming is subject to modification or cancellation at the discretion of park staff. If you need an accommodation to participate in Park activities due to a disability, please contact Presque Isle State Park at 814-833-7424 to make arrangements for your visit. With at least three days’ notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for educational programs. Please call the Erie ASL Interpreters’ Office at (814) 806-2511 for more information about this service.
