DESCRIPTION:Kids\, grab your favorite grownup and come to the Environmental
  Education Center for a special morning of nature\, art\, and hiking! In t
 his program\, kids and adults will join certified nature journaling guide 
 Leah Zabari to learn how to observe the natural world and use pencil and w
 atercolor to record it.\n\n \n\nSpaces are limited and registration is req
 uired. Each child and adult must be registered through the "register" link
  above. All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the progra
 m.\n\n \n\nCome prepared with sturdy footwear for a one-mile hike that inc
 ludes some roots\, rocks\, and uneven terrain. We will be taking several s
 tops along our route to observe\, draw\, and paint.\n\n \n\nAll journaling
  materials will be provided\, but if you are already working on a nature j
 ournal\, feel free to bring it along! There is water available at our meet
 ing location (bring a reusable bottle)\, and bathrooms at the meeting loca
 tion and along the route. Picnic tables are available nearby if you'd like
  to bring your lunch for after the program!\n\n \n\nDirections to the Envi
 ronmental Education Center:\n1. From the park office parking lot\, head no
 rtheast by turning right onto Route 563/ Mountain View Drive.\n2. Proceed 
 0.8 miles to Harrisburg School Road and turn right.\n2. Proceed 0.3 miles 
 to the stop sign (entering the park) and turn right.\n3. Proceed 0.2 miles
  to parking lot #12 and park.\n4. Using either the main park roadway (foll
 ow the lights!) or the gravel path\, walk through the wooded area 400 ft t
 o the Environmental Education Center. \n\n(The first building along the pa
