Mindful Moments in Nature: Learning From Trees

Shake off the stress of the work week with some therapeutic time in nature.

Mindful Moments in Nature is a programming series each week at Keystone State Park that focuses on the therapeutic power of nature. Each meeting, the park naturalist will lead participants on a short hike, basic meditative techniques, stretches, and more. Most meetings will focus on a specific nature topic and what mental and emotional lessons we can learn from nature.

For this session, we'll focus on trees. We'll take a close look at how they live and grow. There's much to learn from trees, if we pay close attention.

Participants are encouraged to bring a notebook or journal of their own that will be dedicated to nature journaling. Sheets of paper and clipboards will be available to those who are unable to bring a journal or who forget to bring one.

Space for this program is limited and registration is required. Additional information, including meeting location and other items to bring, will be disclosed upon registration. Registration must be received by June 3rd. Please email Jean if you have any questions at jkeene@pa.gov.
