Join Michaux State Forest staff for a 1.5 to 2-mile walk in the woods on Sunday, October 1^st from 10 AM – 12 PM. We will explore the Smoke Zimmerman Cross Country Ski Trails for local plants and wildlife.

Please Note:

• The trail is reasonably flat and moderate in difficulty with rocks and exposed roots in areas. Unfortunately, this walk is not wheelchair or stroller accessible.
• Please bring water and sturdy footwear.
• Leashed pets that are comfortable with other dogs and large groups are welcome to join.
• The nearest public restroom to this trailhead is located at Caledonia State Park.
• Cell phone service can be unreliable throughout the forest, please plan accordingly.
