Learn about one of our nighttime pollinators – moths! Celebrate National Moth Week with our educators as we catch, identify and marvel at the spectacular and colorful world of moths! With over 2,000 native PA species there will be tons of opportunities to observe. In order to get the best views possible of these moths, we will be using light traps - no physical harm will be done to any moth. 

There is no age limit to this program but please no bug squishers! 

We ask that no bug spray or lotions be worn to this event in order to make sure there is no harm done to any moth you wish to get a closer look at. 

Due to the nature of this event, you do not need to stay for the entire program but please be aware that you may miss out on some neat finds as the night progresses.
