**Important- When registering, please include your Troop/Den Number under "Additional Information We Need to Know."
Scouts (ages 7-11) will participate in a two-hour program that demonstrates the art of maple sugaring from past to present and explains how and why the process works. The program will begin indoors with a presentation that unravels the mystery of how trees function, and considers the many benefits they provide. The presentation is followed by a guided, outdoor walk featuring a working evaporator and a taste of spring itself, real maple syrup. Maple products from a local producer will be available in Jennings’ gift shop for optional purchases. This maple sugaring program will be offered in the morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Each participating scout will receive an embroidered patch.
Cub Scout den leaders and Girl Scout troop leaders must pre-register their scouts for either the morning or afternoon session. Register to the right or by calling Jennings at 724-794-2682 If registering online be sure you are registering for either AM or PM Session. Registration is not complete until payment is received.
