Plan to enjoy about an hour with us at the park and learn how sugar maple sap is made into that sweet syrup we enjoy. Maple sap boiling and tree tapping demonstrations will be held and you will also get a chance to learn about the history and science of the process. Guests include Dr. Bob Hansen, Statewide Maple Syrup Judge; Adam Chorba, Bradford County Conservation District; Dave Stienfelt, Folic Meadow Farm; Ray Bixby, Bixby's Maple Syrup; Bradford Sullivan Forest Landowners Association and the Bradford County Book Mobile. The StoryWalk will also be updated with a new book called "Sugar Snow". Please dress for the weather. The event will be held rain, snow or shine.
