Plan to enjoy about an hour with us to experience how maple syrup is produced. You will see how maple syrup is taken from the tree to table and learn some history and science of the process. There will be a variety of speakers that day that will discuss everything from how to tap trees, boil sap and how maple syrup is graded for resale. Guest speakers include Dr. Bob Hansen, Adam Chorba ( Bradford County Conservation District), Dave Stienfelt ( Frolic Meadow Farm) and Ray Bixby ( Bixby Maple Syrup). For more information, contact the park office at (570) 297-2734. The event will be held rain, snow or shine. Please dress accordingly.
