Making Natural Cordage
10 Lower Pine Bottom Rd, Waterville, PA 17776
Have you ever wondered what our ancestors used for cordage before the mass production of string and rope? Join along during this hands-on workshop as we learn about the plants that were once used to make cordage, and then try your hand at making cordage from both native plants that were used historically, as well as modern materials you likely already have in your home, using the same traditional technique.
Family friendly program for ages. Program will be held in the classroom of the Tiadaghton Resource Management Center (10 Lower Pine Bottom Road, Waterville, PA 17776).
