Join us for a short, fun, interactive activity that helps explain where the Perseid meteor showers come from.  This game provides an intro to August's Perseid Meteor Shower, and is a great way to ease into the following Night Sky Tour program.

All ages - kids, teens, and adults. 

Registration is not required for this fun, family-friendly, and free event.

🗺️Where: Use entrance here, park in the lot. Walk around the hill to the viewing field, the Night Sky Public Viewing Area.

💼Bring: Red-light flashlight for later, extra layers/blankets, and a folding/camp chair.

🚫Leave at home: Pets (only trained service animals allowed), alcohol, recreational drugs. 

All programs will be cancelled in the event of rain or thunder. Check the Clear Sky Chart or AccuWeather Stargazing Forecasts for forecasts of cloud cover and viewing conditions.
