Come along on a hike to the Lost Children’s Monument on the day before the 161^st anniversary of their disappearance!  This is a rare chance to visit the monument as darkness falls.  Learn about the story of the children that the monument remembers and how a community came together.  Also learn about what happened later.  This hike is appropriate for the entire family.  This area is normally closed at sunset, so it is a rare event.  Bring a flashlight and water.  The hike is about 1 ½ miles over mostly easy terrain.  For more information, call (814)733-2203 or contact us by e-mail at Gbarner@pa.gov.
