Welcome to our Little Tadpole Series!  This series will encourage younger children (ages 3 – 5 years old) to notice nature and the world around them.  Included in every program will be a short story and a “brain break” (physical/sensory activity).  For every program, please dress your children in outdoor clothes that are acceptable to be dirty, painted on, muddy, and/or possibly wet.  Closed toe shoes that do not easily fall off, are also highly recommended.

For this program, we will be learning about Water – Basic water cycle, why it is important, etc.

All programs in the series are as follows:

• 2) Flowers in Our Backyard – May 21^st, 2021
• 3) Water – June 11^th, 2021
• 4) Aquatic Plants and Animals – June 25^th, 2021
• 5) Raspberries and Blackberries – July 2^nd, 2021
• 6) Blueberries and Cranberries – July 16^th, 2021
• 7) Insects – August 6^th, 2021
• 8) Aquatic Insects – August 20^th, 2021
• 9) Migrating Birds (Eagles, Ospreys, & Hawks) – September 3^rd, 2021
• 10) Migrating Birds (Ducks, Geese, and Swans) – September 17^th, 2021
• 11) Night Animals that Fly – October 15^th, 2021
• 12) Night Animals that Crawl – October 29^th, 2021
• 13) Game Animals – November 5^th, 2021

***COVID-19 Stipulations***

Pre-registration is required and limited to 10 participants.  If multiple people are attending, please make sure to sign up as a group (including parents/guardians).

Program participants must wear a face covering or mask (unless exempt), and maintain social distancing.  It is also suggested to bring hand sanitizer while visiting.

This program may be cancelled depending on future guidelines, or severe weather.
