Little Naturalists: Falling Leaves
R.B. Winter State Park is starting to look a little different in September. The leaves are turning briliant red, orange, and yellow colors, and we will soon be able to hear and feel the crunch of fallen leaves under our feet.
Join our park educator to learn about why trees look so different throughout the year. This program is recommended for children aged 3-7, and is perfect for young homeschoolers. Little naturalists will practice observing leaves from the park and create leaf art, while learning about our tree's seasonal cycle.
Please meet in our Environmental Learning Center. If the weather permits, this program will be outdoors.
