Whoooooo might we find in Nolde Forest after hours? Join Ms. Sarah and your friends from the Mifflin Community Library as we learn about the adaptations that make owls such great hunters.
Participants will meet indoors to dissect an owl pellet, examine owl feet and skulls, and then go outside on a hike after dark where we look and listen for owls in the forest.
Masks are required for all unvaccinated individuals and are optional for individuals that are fully vaccinated. Bring a flashlight if you have one, but know that we will spend some of the hike walking in the dark.
Ages 8+. Children are required to have adult supervision at all times.
Program will run rain or shine. If weather is too severe we will cancel the outdoor portion of the program and just explore our owl artifacts indoors.
