Join us for this special event to celebrate the history of Kings Gap and the local area. Explore self-guided stations inside the Mansion, learn from a variety of local experts, and attend special timed tours and demonstrations throughout the event. No registration required.

1:30 PM: In-depth tour of the Kings Gap Mansion OR Tour of the outbuildings and garden.
2:00 PM: Stone Cutting Demonstration: How they built the Mansion
2:30 PM: Guided walk to charcoal hearth for immersive lesson (Mostly flat pavement and rocky trail. Just under 1 mile.)
3:30 PM: In-depth tour of the Kings Gap Mansion OR Tour of outbuildings and garden.
4:00 PM: Talk explaining Kings Gap, Pine Grove, and Caledonia State Parks relationship in the charcoal and iron industry.
